Panasonic® Business Phone Communications Systems Discontinued in 2023

In early 2023, the Panasonic Business Communication business will cease operation. This includes the following systems:

  • Panasonic PBX telephone
  • SIP telephone
  • Scanner

Why is Panasonic Business Communication being discontinued?

The Panasonic Business Communication business is winding down for a variety of reasons:

  • The market is moving to cloud-based solutions. That means data is stored, managed and processed on a network of remote servers hosted on the internet, rather than locally or on personal devices.
  • COVID-19 created a sudden shift to new tools that included not just voice but also video, text or chat options like Microsoft® Teams and Zoom®.

I have a discontinued Panasonic business system. How will this affect me?

Nsight will continue to support Panasonic phone systems for the foreseeable future.

As a Panasonic® Partner, we will continue to have access to their parts and hardware as long as they continue to manufacture and provide them. This means you dont have to replace your system or find another provider because we can continue to maintain and repair your IP or digital phone system when needed.

Best of all: When you buy from an authorized dealer like Nsight, the original warranty remains intact.

What if I want to replace my system?

In addition to being a Panasonic Partner, Nsight is also an NEC Partner. Their analog, digital, IP and software solutions can meet your communication and phone system needs.

  • NEC analog phones: The modern version of the classic singleline telephone provides a simple solution for common areas like back offices, warehouses and break rooms.
  • NEC digital phones: With a sleek design and a variety of customizable features, organizations can configure them for employees work and communication needs.
  • NEC IP phone systems: With capabilities like interactive navigation and quick contact directories, these phones also include security features to protect communications endtoend.
  • SIP telephones (Session Initiation Protocol): With a variety of models and customizable features, SIP phones can function as a simple desk phone or use a range of optional features to help serve staff needs, including multilanguage support, audio and video conferencing and more.
